The Spartan Club – Summary of Benefits to Join

1.   The Spartan Club is an all volunteer organization that raises money for all of the Seven Lakes High School sports teams.  We are a 501(c)(3) charitable organization, and your generous Membership donations are TAX DEDUCTIBLE.

2.   Many of the sports items and supplies used by the teams are funded thru KISD.  However, when the KISD funds run out, the Spartan Club funds take over.

3.   Examples of items previously funded thru the Spartan Club: 

AED’s throughout the gym and athletic facilities.  Cushioned chairs for Basketball, Volleyball, and Wrestling.  Roster Boards for Basketball.  4WD Gator for Football, Soccer, Baseball & Softball.  For Spring 2008, all teams combined their funds for weights and exercise equipment for our Auxiliary Weight Room.

4.   In addition to memberships, the Spartan Club:

-          Manages concession stands at Seven Lakes home games & hospitality room at Football games

-          Assists with organizing Team Banquets & Hospitality Rooms for many of the team sports

-          Offers Spirit Wear for sale

-          Arranges Full-Color Programs for Football and many other sports

-          Coordinates Senior Scholarships – 4 girl’s and 4 boy’s @ $1,000 each

-          Manages the funds collected by your teams fundraising efforts

-          Provides funds for SLHS Sports Medicine group

5.   The amount of money the Spartan Club provides for each sport, is based on each team’s total membership donation dollars, multiplied by the participation percentage.  The higher the participation percentage, the more of the team’s membership dollars that goes to each sport.

6.   There are 6 membership levels – The “BEST VALUE” is the Spartan Hero level of $250, which includes 2 KISD Athletic Passes.  If purchased early in the school year, using these passes will easily cover the $250 donation amount. 

7.   If you have some free time, get involved with the Spartan Club.  Come to our General Membership meetings and volunteer for a

      committee.  Once again, we are an ALL VOLUNTEER organization.
